My name is Will Fear founder of Greatwood Adventure.

My aim is to light the adventurous spark within

I have 18 years’ experience of teaching Design and Technology in secondary education and have served 10 years in the position of Head of Year.

 

During this time I have built up a wealth of pastoral experience and worked extensively in the field of mentoring and helping vulnerable young people and their families.

 

I have worked closely with multiple intervention services for the benefit of the student, running many successful plans that have turned challenging cases around.

 

I am also an accredited Scout Leader and very well connected with a network of clubs, societies and mentors locally offering the next steps in adventure.

 

I know the positive difference that sustained and valued relationships make through shared experiences in laying the foundation for vulnerable or at risk of exclusion students to achieve sustained behaviour and outlook change, thus improving their life chances.
